Questions owners ask us
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They scan with their normal camera and a page opens in the browser. No account, no app.
Does it work with my cashier system?
Yes. On day one staff just tap Ready, so it works next to any system. We can also connect popular POS systems or add a small box next to your receipt printer so orders appear by themselves.
What happens during a power cut or when the internet drops?
The staff screen saves every tap and sends it as soon as the connection is back. A staff phone on mobile data works as a backup, and customers are on their own data anyway.
Will iPhone users get the alert?
Yes, while the page is open it rings and stays awake. For a locked screen they can choose WhatsApp or add the page to their Home Screen. Android phones get a notification either way.
What if a customer doesn’t want to use their phone?
No problem. The staff screen shows who is tracking and who isn’t, so you call those numbers out as usual.
How do I pay, and can I stop anytime?
Monthly or yearly, in dollars, by cash, Whish Money, OMT or bank transfer. There’s no contract, so you can stop at the end of any month. We remind you a week before renewal.
What do you do with my customers’ data?
Very little. No names or accounts. WhatsApp numbers are deleted within 24 hours and nothing is ever sold. See our Privacy Policy.
